Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the Commissioner’s trophy high.
