The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment show why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose demise initiated the story’s plot—exploited the enemy for his own means, invading the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his debts and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each member has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the group enter areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the clan.

This means them few options but to travel to Timmony in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
