Ways these Broncos together with their 'play-dough' quarterback could end that Chiefs' reign.

NFL 2025 season: Week six

Live coverage includes live text of Sunday's games on various channels, beginning with the Broncos-Jets clash in London (kicking off at 2 PM BST). Also, audio coverage can be heard through designated networks covering another key matchup (from 21:00 BST).

We're in the sixth week in the football calendar , after last week's discussion regarding the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as a potential Super Bowl match-up, each lost their perfect starts.

Striking during those contests were the number of infractions both conceded. Philadelphia committed them at crucial times meaning they essentially beat themselves after leading by two touchdowns going into the fourth period against Denver, who play overseas this weekend.

But it was good to see that Denver's QB the rookie was able to overcome the shortfall before direct three scoring drives in three attempts during the final period, to win the game by four points.

The Broncos boast the top defender with cornerback their star corner. They rank first in goal-line defense, while the Eagles lead the league in red zone offence, yet the Broncos won that contest.

They had the Eagles' number in terms of disguised blitzes. They did not necessarily sending extra pass rushers instead they might position two LBs in the 'A' gap before drop them out and dispatch a nickel from the outside.

Early on of the season, it was noted on a program how Denver might emerge as the current year's dark horses. They finished the previous year well then did a good job in continuing that momentum.

Could Denver be this year's dark horses?

New tight end Evan Engram has stepped up significantly and recent RB JK Dobbins is a player the team trusts. He's currently 5th in the NFL for rushing yards (over 400) and tied-fourth in rushing scores (four).

It's impressive how the coach the Broncos' leader displays "RUSH!" prominently on his call sheet.

This demonstrates how the Broncos are a team that wants to prioritize the run, since one can achieve much based on that approach. It slows opposing rushes while maintains in favourable situations.

It's also benefited QB the young passer, who entered into the league as a first-round selection in the prior draft, passing for 29 touchdown passes – second only to a star QB in rookie records (31 in 2020).

Josh Allen and Herbert have the arm strength to throw anywhere, however they don't move the mobility that Nix has. He has exceptional arm talent, which is different, and he's so athletic.

His assets include his mobility, being able to throw while moving, and using varied release points to make throws as he moves outside protection, on rollouts. He is able to throw precision throws across the middle and over the corner.

As a rookie QB, at 25, he's got great poise in the pocket and is not bothered by extra rushers. He aims to evade being tackled whenever possible and can pass under pressure. He has a high football IQ and is quick to decide.

When you consistently rush it eats up time and forces the defence to be in play for longer, and if you've got a mobile QB the defence must defend the field vertically and horizontally. This proves exhausting.

Nix has bitten back with the coach during games at times and I think the coach likes that fire, seeing him as a fierce rival. In my view it's fun for the coach to have a rookie QB who's similar to moldable clay. He can truly build something up how he wants to shape him. I believe it's a unique opportunity for the coach.

The head coach owns a Super Bowl and now passed a legend in all-time victories (173 - tied 14th overall). He's seen it all. In my opinion the achievements the Broncos are experiencing on offence is largely due to his guidance, his schemes, his game sense – and the combination with the QB aids make him into who he is.

There's no better a more qualified person in your ear, to help you during some of the tougher situations and boost confidence.

I have faith in Denver's defence, in the QB's grit and calm. Yet is the team good enough to face an elite team at its best? Since that was not a Super Bowl performance from Philadelphia in their last game.

Currently, it's unlikely the Broncos are incredible. They're working better than most, that's a solid position to hold the AFC West. All they need to do is maintain this path.

They excel at leaning into their forte, which is running the ball, and that's precisely what they should do against the New York Jets in London. It will likely be the JK Dobbins show, in essence.

The Jets have allowed 140 yards on the ground each contest (among the worst), five rushing touchdowns so far (in the bottom ten), and they're the sole squad without a win any game.

Since the league began tracking takeaways in 1933, this team are also the inaugural squad to go without any turnovers through five games, this is surprising considering that the head coach Aaron Glenn a defensive coach at the Detroit Lions.

Patrick Mahomes says Kansas City have 'already lost too many games' following Monday's defeat by the Jaguars.

After this Sunday's game, the Broncos have a smooth-ish schedule up to their break (in week twelve) - the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, the Texans and the Raiders before the Kansas City Chiefs.

Looking at their division, the Chiefs are 2-3 while Denver are tied with the Chargers at 3-2 meaning they could challenge for the top of the division.

It depends on what version of the Chiefs they meet because the Broncos {beat|def
